Southern Philippine Bagobo Gold & Bead Ear Plugs, Mindanao

Description

A lavish old pair of ear plugs presented on a custom metal stand. Each of the wooden plugs are embellished with embossed gold disks attached with a central red bead. The strands of multi-color glass trade beads are attached to a cut shell pendant in the shape of a human figure which is suspended from a trade button backing. The right ear ornament is missing on of its strands.
