A traditional armband featuring one of the most delicately carved figures we've seen yet (very nice treatment on the chest and back) Presented on a custom metal stand. The figure measures 3.5" tall by 1.5" wide and is tightly lashed with rattan to stacked Boar's tusks. In good condition, having a warm dark, varied patina, acquired from age and use. A man wearing a "Tangkil" can be seen on page 78 of "Form an Splendor" by Roberto Maramba, Copyright 1998.
